Self Promotion - Lana Duyn Corporate Identity

Brief:
To create and develop a new corporate identity (brand) for yourself as a designer, or for your own graphic design studio/enterprise. The identity should exist of Stationary including an invoice form, letterhead front, and back, business Card, envelope, data sheet, fax cover sheet, promotional items, CD/ USB.

Concept:
Initially, the idea for my concept was constructed around a physical trait of mine that my eyes change color according to my emotional state or the clothes I’m wearing. The changing of light’s appearance is called Iridescence, that leads me to the further development of my concept. To build a brand on being optimally adaptable by looking at design situations from all angles to find the best option or solution. There is more to me than meets the eye, and I will keep on trying until I succeed.

I used symbols of objects in my identity that represents angles/different point of views, like diamonds and the various cuts which lead to having many sides (possibilities and opportunities). Gold is a precious metal with a Luminous color meaning the changing of light if seen from a different perspective. I used purple gradients to support the luminous effect I wanted to achieve. The stationary is printed on shimmery paper that conveys the feeling of light and preciousness.
